Formal Education
In Spain, formal education is compulsory between the ages of 6 and 16. Outside this period, children can be enrolled in school from the age of 4 months and continue their education up to university. As in other areas, education is not a municipal responsibility. Below you will find information about the schooling process and the schools in the city at the different educational stages.
